Advising Requirements for Urban Studies and Planning Majors:

• All students majoring in Urban Studies and Planning must schedule an advising appointment each semester before enrolling in classes for the upcoming term.

Advisement Holds and Advising Appointments:

• Advising holds are placed on all majors every semester.
• Students are required to meet with a departmental advisor to lift the advisement hold.
• These advising appointments are designed to help students effectively navigate major requirements and expedite their path to graduation.

Role of the Department Advisor:

• Process all Graduation Checks
• Handle Course Substitutions
• Manage Change of Major Requests
• Clear all Registration Advisement Holds
