The MataCard Is Your Secure Digital CSUN ID Card.

The MataCard — your digital CSUN ID — is accessible via your iPhone, Apple Watch or Android phone. More than just an ID, it's your passport to a world of services and privileges on campus.

As a CSUN student, you can show your CSUN ID when you want to:

• Conduct official university business.

• Check in at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) and the Oasis Wellness Center.

• Visit the Klotz Student Health Center.

• Check out books or reserve services at the University Library.

• Get free or discounted tickets for CSUN sporting and stage events.

• Vote in Associated Students (AS) elections.

• Enjoy discounts from nearby merchants and restaurants.

• If you're living in Student Housing, your MataCard is your key — it lets you access your living space and Student Housing facilities.

• If you have a meal plan, you'll use your MataCard for meal swipes at G'mo's and Bamboo Terrace.

For faculty and staff, the benefits are similar, minus services and opportunities intended exclusively for students.

You can also add money to your account and use your MataCard like a debit card at the Campus Store, eateries, Mercado locations or when using beverage vending machines. Some campus vendors even offer a 5% discount when you pay with your MataCard!

And, just like a physical student ID, the MataCard verifies your student or employee status for discounts from nearby merchants and restaurants.
