CSUN’s Academic Technology is inviting faculty to apply to join the inaugural group of Faculty Champions this Spring semester. The program will be composed of an interdisciplinary team of faculty, enthusiastic about the integration of technology into instructional practice at CSUN. This team will work with their college and campus colleagues to make resources that benefit CSUN faculty. This semester the effort of the team will focus on the creation of College/Department specific course templates and best practices for online instruction and student engagement.
We will be asking for a commitment of 20 hours per month from February – May. The Faculty Champions will meet monthly to discuss progress and commonalities identified as they engage their colleagues. The Champions developing best practices may take part in workshops through the Faculty Technology Center.
A stipend is available. The stipend amount is subject to the 125% rule for faculty.
