Register for A/R 601

 If you are a graduate student in another department, please email your department's Graduate Coordinator (found on your department's webpage) for instructions regarding enrollment in A/R 601 and other graduate issues.  You can visit the Graduate Studies Office at https://www.csun.edu/graduate-studies/graduate-student-forms to download the Culminating Experience Enrollment Request Form.  The Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology cannot help you with enrollment in A/R 601 if you are not a graduate student in the Department of Kinesiology.  

If you are a graduate student in the Department of Kinesiology and have completed all of your coursework for the KINMS (27 units of coursework + 6 units of thesis with a grade of RP), you may register for A/R 601 to remain continuously registered in the program.  To do this, you need to download and complete the culminating experience enrollment request form from the Office of Graduate Studies website, Culminating Experience Enrollment Form.  Once you have completed the top section of the form, please send it with a DPR (printed the same day) to the Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology.  This can be done by emailing PDFs of the form and DPR to  . Once you have sent the forms, please allow 2 business days for the completed and signed form to be sent back to you.  Follow the instructions on the signed form and submit it to the Office of Graduate Studies.  They will assist you in registering in A/R 601. 

A/R 601 is only offered to students who have completed all of their coursework and do not have outstanding grades of incomplete in any of their courses.  Students MUST change their graduation dates to the current or upcoming semester PRIOR to submitting the A/R601 Enrollment Request to the Office of Graduate Studies.  The correct form to use is the Graduate Degree Change of Date Form.  Please feel free to email the Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology at   with any questions or concerns.
