To promote a culture of respect on campus, all CSUN students — and all college/university students in the United States — must complete a sexual misconduct and violence awareness and prevention education program. At CSUN this training is online, interactive and video-based, featuring real-life student testimonials.
- New students take a longer, initial course once only and complete it before enrolling in their first-semester classes. Course title: “Not Anymore”
- Continuing students take a short refresher course every year thereafter and complete it before enrolling in fall classes. Course title: “Every Choice”
All students who are required to take the training will have a “Title IX Not Anymore” registration hold that prevents enrollment in classes. Once students complete the training, the hold will be removed within 24 hours.
This guide explains how to access the training.

We understand that the content of the training may cause particular distress for some individuals. Go to the CSUN home page at www.csun.edu and:
- Select the myNorthridge Portal link.
- Log in with your CSUN User ID and Password.
For new students, the portal displays the “Applicant” tab by default.
Locate the “Incomplete Tasks” section of My Checklist. (My Checklist also displays on the “Home” tab.)
Under “Incomplete Tasks” in the “Registration Holds” section, locate the “Title 9 Initial Training Required” message.
Click the Not Anymore link to access the initial training.
Continuing students will take the short refresher course before each fall registration period.
On the “Home” tab in My Checklist, under “Incomplete Tasks > Registration Holds,” find the “Title 9 Refresher Training Required” message.
Click the Not Anymore link to access the refresher training.
Note: The Not Anymore link name is the same for both the initial and refresher courses.
If the login page displays, enter your CSUN User ID and Password.
The training website displays. Play the video to get started with your initial or refresher course.
Once you complete the training, the registration hold will be removed within 24 hours.
Tip: Plan ahead! Complete the training before your enrollment appointment arrives.
Confirmations that you have completed Title IX courses will display in My Checklist under “Completed Tasks” within 24 hours.
Because the refresher course is required once a year, you’ll see the next “Title 9 Refresher Training Required” hold in My Checklist within 24 hours of completing the last required course.
You may access the Not Anymore link to complete the refresher course as early as January each year to remove the registration hold for the coming fall semester.
When done, always log out (upper right corner)!
