Website Changes

Hello all,

A couple changes have been made to the website:
  • The database has been removed. All necessary files will be posted on the Moodle page.
  • The recruitment page has had some slight aesthetic enhancements.
  • The lecture page’s placeholder has gotten an aesthetic enhancement as well.
  • The photos page has been updated with new photos.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, contact the webmaster.

Enjoy!

Out with the Old and In with the New!

Hello All!

I would just like to bring your attention to a couple of revisions to the website. First, the Recruitment page has gotten a facelift, and it now proudly features the Rushing History of Phi Delta Epsilon CA Theta. Second, I have replaced the old Multimedia Page with a new, flashier page called Photos. On Photos, you can view photos from the last couple months in a beautiful slideshow format. More changes will be made soon, but I hope you all enjoy the ones that have been made so far!

Your Technology Committee Chair,

Ram Wolman

We're Back in Business Baby!

Hello Phi Delta Epsilon!

As I mentioned in my committee report, the website will, from here on, be updated biweekly. To kickstart Technology Committee’s semester, the website’s Committee and Recruitment pages have been updated with the most recent information. Not only that, but this blog will contain information regarding future events (such as our CHLA blood drive on February 21st), highlights from previous events, interviews with new and old members, interviews with alumni and more!

In the near future, you can expect to see pictures from Karaoke Night, Winterball, the blood drive and more, as well as videos, on our Multimedia Page. Also, be prepared to find a new facebook page representing our chapter. The page is entitled, “Phi Delta Epsilon CA Theta.” The old Facebook page will still be active, but it will be reserved primarily for old members. Therefore, if you want to keep up with our events, news and more on the social networking website, please like the page!

If anybody has any questions regarding the website, the facebook page, the committee pictures or anything else, email me at ram.wolman.834@my.csun.edu.

Your Technology Committee Chair,

Ram Wolman

Work in Progress

The Phi Delta Epsilon website is currently in the process of being updated. In the near future, you can expect to find blog entries regarding PhiDE’s events and fundraisers and photos and videos from past events. Stay tuned!

Section Merger, FB Comments

To streamline the website a bit more, and due to the fact that this stuff is usually time sensitive, the Volunteer/Internship section has been merged with the Home section. If anyone knows of any opportunities, please e-mail them over and they will be posted in the blog.

Initially the Facebook login for blog commenting did not work. After going into the Facebook app and modifying, it did start working. However, the comment host Disqus will be down for a portion of time today, so if anyone is still having problems please try again tomorrow.

Website Updates

After much waiting and many delays, the new website alias is now live. Please change your bookmarks from "csun.edu/~phide" to "csun.edu/phide". The old address still works, but why make yourself have to look at that ugly tilde symbol? The members section is also up now. You can e-mail the webmaster for a username and password. This will give you access to sensitive documents and information.

New Blog Format

Working on a new blogger system for the announcements page. Still in the testing phases, trying to make sure everything looks good. If all goes well visitors should be able to leave comments for any of the announcements on the home page. Keep it clean though!
