Writing-No Late Work accepted!

No late work accepted! Only typed, (when hard copy-stapled), double spaced, 1 " margins all around, left justified--in MLA formatwork accepted. All assignments to be completed before class starts in MLA format for credit IN CLASS only on day due. All designated essays MUST BE SUBMITTED to Turnitin.com via Moodle in a timely fashion or will receive No Credit. That is where they will be commented upon and graded.

Written Work Prompts

ESSAYS 1-3 (including revisions for either Essay 1 or 2 on final class day) MUST BE submitted to Turnitin.com. via Moodle to receive credit. [Extra Credit given with proof of LRC appointment for any one of these three.] Upload rough drafts to Moodle on date/time due and upload final drafts to Turnitin via Moodle on time to receive full credit.

Note: In weeks where Analytical Responses and Journals are both due make sure to write on two different readings from Exploring Language.

  • Analytical Response Format must be uploaded to Moodle
  • Reading Journal Format must be uploaded to Moodle

    • Revision of Essay 1 OR 2 due on Wed May 7

    • At the end of the semester you have the option to submit at this time a rewrite of ONE of the first two essays (only) for grade re-evaluation in Turnitin via Moodle.
    • At the end of the semester, only if you have satisfactorily completed ALL of the written work, will you be allowed to submit a revision of either essay 1 or 2 to me for final assessment. LATE OR INCOMPLETE WORK NOT ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
