Dear Principal Investigators and Research Administrators:
We have received further guidance from the Office of the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs regarding the different nuances that may come up with the Essential Travel Applications.
Below is the addendum to the Approval Process for Essential Travel Applications:
- Reschedule Original Date of Travel – If ONLY your original start date has changed, your application will need to be reviewed and approved again by the Provost and President.
- New Dates for Travel – If you have new dates to ADD to your travel, your application will need to be re-routed again through the entire approval process (Dean/Provost/President).
- Faculty-Led Group Travels - The approval of your Essential Travel Application will cover the rest of your students and other participants listed in your application. All Faculty-Led travels will only need one application from the lead Faculty. If you have any additional participants not included in your original list, your application will need to be re-routed again through the entire approval process (Dean/Provost/President).
*** It is imperative that any changes be communicated and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org so that they can immediately work on getting the request through in a timely manner before your travel. As a reminder, application process must be completed PRIOR to your travel. ***
