Dear Principal Investigators and Research Administrators:
As we wrap up fall 2019 semester and before we head off to enjoy the holidays, here are a few reminders and important dates to remember before we close 2019:
Fall 2019 and Winter break 2020 Additional Pay
Fall 2019 additional pay due date is on December 19, 2019. After this date, you will not be able to enter any requests for fall 2019.
Winter break 2020 additional pay system is open for submission and is due on January 16, 2020. Please note the following:
- AY Faculty can submit pre-authorization to work up to 12 days (100%) on a federal project and 3 days (25%) on a non-federal project.
- 12-month faculty can submit pre-authorization to work up to 3 days (25%).
December 31, 2019 TUC Payroll Due date
Due to campus closure during the holidays, all signed/completed timecards, both paper and eTime, must be submitted on or before 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 2, 2020. All benefited employees who are eligible for holiday pay must report their holiday hours on their timecards.

Principal Investigators Recognition Event
The Research & Sponsored Programs department is currently planning the 2020 Principal Investigators Recognition event which will be hosted by President Harrison. The purpose of this event is to acknowledge your support and valuable contributions to the campus in providing research and sponsored programs.
Same as previous years, we are currently collecting high-resolution photos of each Principal Investigator who have active projects in calendar year 2019, as well as photos of your sponsored project that you would like to share. These photos will be used for the PI Recognition booklet (see link below).

If you would like your photo to considered in the booklet, or if you would like to change your individual photo in the booklet, please send your photos to tucsp.sa2@csun.edu on or before January 31, 2020.
