Academic Technology and the Faculty Technology Center have embarked on a campaign to use social media to increase awareness of campus-supported digital programs. So, we invite you to follow Infotech_CSUN on Instagram! Our digital equity students have been posting twice a week on our Infotech_CSUN account with tips on how to log in to the campus wifi, access the Device Loaner Program, and other fantastic tips for utilizing technical features on their devices. Please encourage your students to follow Infotech_CSUN by posting the provided QR code to your Canvas page or sending the QR code to students in Pronto. Pronto is AMAZING! Email can be cumbersome for students and quite frankly for faculty too. Did you know that students prefer getting Instant Messages (IMs) or Direct Messages (DMs) directly to their smartphones? There is a system built into our Canvas shell called Pronto. You can IM or DM students directly to their device through Canvas. Have your students download the Pronto app from the iOS App Store or Google Play, and start using Pronto to IM/DM student reminders, deadlines and other quick messages.
