CSUN Navigators | Staff & Faculty Assisting New Students

CSUN Navigators are staff and faculty that welcome our students during the first two days of the fall semester, answering questions and helping students find their way (navigate) to classes and other locations. Fall 2019 marks the eighth year for the CSUN Navigators!  With the expectation of a large number of new students, we will need a lot of volunteers to assist us with this program as it has been well received.  Even if you know very little about the campus, we will give you all the tools you need to be a great Navigator. This is a good opportunity to interface with our students and to spend some time with colleagues!

Whether you are new to the program or coming back around to volunteer again, all CSUN Navigators need to attend a training session to get updates and instructions.

Volunteer slots are still available for August 26 & 27th. To volunteer, email Michael Clemens.

You can view some photos of past events at the CSUN Navigators Website at: http://www.csun.edu/development/csun-navigators.

The president and vice presidents support the CSUN Navigator program, and have asked campus supervisors to adjust schedules whenever possible for participating employees to attend the training session and to assist our students the first week of school.

We know our students will appreciate your efforts. Go Matadors!
