ITEM #1 APPROVAL OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES FOR January 28, 2005
The minutes were approved


ITEM #2 RECEIPT OF JANUARY 24, 2005 STUDENT PROJECTS COMMITTEE MINUTES AND CONSIDERATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS
MSP: That the University Corporation Executive Committee receive the minutes of the January 24, 2005 Student Projects Committee meeting and approve the awards as recommended therein.


ITEM #3 FREUDIAN SIP

The new Freudian Sip coffee house opened in the Matador Bookstore, in the space formerly occupied by Krispy Kreme Donuts. Ice cream has been added to the menu of the Freudian Sip in the Bookstore. A Freudian Sip coffee house is included in the USU renovation; there will be yet another in the Exchange replacement. A Freudian Sip coffee house will also open on the Pierce College campus, under a licensing agreement and a consulting agreement.


ITEM #4 HUD UPDATE
Three homes were sold since the last report. The Corporation currently owns seventeen homes in Memphis.


ITEM #5 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The December 31, 2004 financial statements were reviewed. The Corporation is ahead of budget to date. Investments were rebalanced in late December and show 7.4% growth for the fiscal year as of December 31, 2004


ITEM #6 RESEARCH AND SPONSORED PROJECTS - AWARDS AND EXPENDITURE REPORTS (OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER 2004)
The information was received.


ITEM #7 ANNOUNCEMENTS
National Science Foundation Audit The audit of the AMP program is underway. The program involves eighteen of the CSU campuses. San Francisco State University was the primary campus through which the other campuses received their awards.

Exchange The architectural firm of Fields Devereaux has been selected to design the Exchange replacement. They will work with kitchen consultants, Webb Design.

Conejo Valley Unified District Land On behalf of the University, the Corporation is negotiating to purchase ten acres of land offered for sale by the Conejo Valley Unified School District.

Booknow Follett Higher Education Group, operators of the Matador Bookstore, would like to institute this program that links on-line registration with the book list to facilitate textbook buying.

Campus Pouring Rights Contract A new ten-year agreement with Pepsi was finalized.
