TEAS: Test of Essential Academic Skills

Testing for the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is now offered at California State University Northridge (CSUN) for current students, applicants and the greater San Fernando Valley community. CSUN is an "open" testing site for TEAS testing. Testing is available for students and non-students alike.

The TEAS exam is a multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science, English and language usage. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators deem most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.

Composite scores, as well as several sub-scores, are computed in each of the four content areas to assess specific content comprehension. Results will be available immediately following the completion of the exam. Results will also be accessible by logging in to your account on the ATI website.
