Entrance Exams

The following entrance exams are administered at CSUN on some dates. For registration information, dates, etc., visit the appropriate test websites listed below.

ACT: American College Test

The ACT is one of two tests (the SAT is the other) used by the California State University system to determine eligibility for admission (all campuses will accept either the ACT or SAT). The ACT should be taken well in advance of the proposed enrollment, on one of the national test dates at a location near to where the student lives. Students should, if possible, take the ACT on one of the national test dates, (it can take four to six weeks for CSUN to receive scores from a national test date).

Registration bulletins are available in the CSUN Testing Center, Bayramian Hall room 225, or at most local high school guidance offices. For registration information, dates, etc., visit the ACT link below.

SAT: Scholastic Assessment Test

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test required for admission for most law schools.
