Los Angeles Regional Write-Off Competition

On Feb. 22, high school journalists from around Los Angeles County will come to California State University, Northridge to compete in a regional writing tournament. The top competitors will be given awards and qualify for the state competition in March. Students will compete in news writing, feature writing, opinion and sports writing. Read more

Three journalists will visit California State University, Northridge on Wednesday to discuss the life and death of Nelson Mandela for the “Covering Greatness” event. The three participants all covered Nelson Mandela during his lifetime. Participants include Ann Simmons, Darlene Donloe and Bob Butler.
