The Business Honors Program is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated high academic standards and to encourage these students to continue their record of excellence as business majors at California State University, Northridge.
Honors Courses in Finance
The Finance Department participates in the Business Honors Program by offering four Honors courses:
FIN 303BH – Financial Management
Generally offered in the Fall. Open to Business Honors students only.
FIN 352BH – Investments I
Generally offered in the Spring. Open to Business Honors students only. Paired with a regular section of FIN 352 that is open to all students
FIN 355BH – Corporate Finance I
Generally offered in the Spring. Open to Business Honors students only. Paired with a regular section of FIN 355 that is open to all students
FIN 437BH – Advanced Topics in Finance
In FIN 437BH, a small group of students manage over $1 million of the University’s endowment.
The course is offered both Fall and Spring. During Spring Semester, students typically travel to the RISE Conference to present the results of the investment decisions. The course is open to all students by competitive admission. Apply here.
