Advisement is REQUIRED for ALL Journalism students.
First-Time-Freshmen
First time freshmen in their first year are required to seek academic advisement at the Matador Advisement Hub.
Second-Year-Freshmen through 59 units
Second year freshmen through 59 units are required to meet with our Academic Staff Advisor in the Journalism department office.
Upper Division Students
Upper division students who have completed 60 units through senior year are required to complete semester-by-semester mandatory advisement with their assigned faculty adviser.
Students on Academic Notice
Students who are on academic notice or disqualified must contact the MCCAMC Student Resource Center/EOP office for additional academic advisement requirements.
