In this workshop, participants will learn how to investigate and interpret evidence-based research on the plant-based as it relates to cancer.

Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and staff will discuss the latest evidence-based research on the benefits of following a plant-based diet, demystify the differences between plant-based, vegan, vegetarian, among others with their impact on cancer and health. We will go over how to grow your own fruits highlighting citrus, and recipes to incorporate into your diet. Read more

Prepare for your Dietetic Internship application with this guided workshop, taking you step-by- step through the DICAS Application. We encourage all FCS Nutrition & dietetics students applying for a Dietetic Internship this fall to attend this workshop to have a better chance of getting into their internship of choice. This workshop also includes an informational session from CSUN's Dietetic Internship Director.
