Athletic Injury Medical Expense (AIME) Insurance:
Who Is Covered?
This insurance covers currently enrolled CSU students who are involved in official intercollegiate athletics, including:

Student-athletes on a team roster

Students trying out or training to join a team

Student coaches, managers, athletic training students, and cheerleaders
Coverage applies if you are injured while participating in approved athletic activities.
What Activities Are Covered?
AIME covers injuries that happen during official, school-related athletic activities, such as:

Intercollegiate games and competitions
-
Regular season events
-
Team practices and conditioning sessions
-
Other supervised team activities
To be covered, the activity must be:

Organized, approved, or supervised by CSU staff

Part of an official CSU intercollegiate sport
What Is Not Covered?
The following activities are not covered unless directly connected to an official CSU team event:

Camps or clinics
-
Fundraisers
-
Alumni events
-
National or external competitions not run by CSU
For cheerleaders, coverage only applies when activities are directly tied to an official CSU athletic team or event.
