Health Promotion students are improving student awareness and saving lives through the program, START (Services for Tele-health and Rapid Testing), with guidance from Health Sciences Assistant Professor Bethany Rainisch, thanks to a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSA). College Receives $2 Million to Increase Diversity in Health Care Careers

The College of Health and Human Development has been awarded a five-year, $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to address the educational gap of Hispanics and other underrepresented groups in health care-related graduate programs. The initiative is called, CAMINO, which in Spanish translates to "pathway." Read more
