Description: The U.S. Access Board and the General Services Administration (GSA) will provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of the revised Section 508 Standards and address recurring issues. The presentation will address using the standards to evaluate and acquire 508-conformant information technology. The presenters will review the 508 Standards and address questions about specific provisions and definitions. Topics include Government-wide implementation and testing and implementing Section 508 across an IT product's lifecycle, including procurement, design and development, testing, and operations and maintenance.
