The CSUN Assistive Technology Conference has transformed the accessibility and inclusive design community over the past 38 years. It's a global gathering of designers, developers, educators, rehabilitation experts, and researchers. The true strength of the conference is the spectrum of conversations that happen in hallways, sessions, tradeshows, and even the late-night bar runs. It's a house filled with global family members who can't wait to share what they've learned.
Everyone that attends a CSUN Conference gains new perspectives, but some sessions and events have a profound impact on your understanding of accessibility and inclusion. Jennison Asuncion and Ted Drake, the 2023 Program Chairs, will share moments that had a profound impact. They will summarize the moment, what they learned, and how they used that information to change their careers. You will be inspired to embrace the CSUN experience, whether it is a profound conversation in a session, a chance meeting in the hallway, chaotic audience participation, or starting a new collaboration over drinks at the bar.
