Document accessibility isn’t a new concept, but there’s something that has been changing, especially within the last decade, it is becoming more and more the standard and less and less the exception, and the cost for being non-compliant has reached substantial amounts. Organizations realize how important it is to make customer-facing information accessible, compliant, and usable, and because of this, they are learning to incorporate document accessibility into their daily routines. For many, this is still a new concept, and therefore need help understanding the importance of having a document accessibility workflow in place. This session will describe the various methods used to remediate documents and make them accessible, usable, and compliant. This includes: •AccessibilityNOW Transactional – This Crawford Technologies solution set component allows clients to automatically tag their documents using AccessibilityNOW Designer and provides an automated way to make high-volume, statement-like applications accessible, compliant, and usable. •AccessibilityNOW Publisher – This component automates the PDF tagging process for a high volume of static PDF files. It can be run automated under a workflow or RPA system or called through an API. It can achieve completion rates of up to 90%, significantly reducing the time required to make documents accessible. •AccessibilityNOW Remediate – This offers users a fast and easy way of tagging PDF
