- Description

Forms are one of the most important features in websites. They are a critical method of communication between people and companies. Yet far too often this communication is difficult or impossible due to poor accessibility.
Accessible forms are easy to understand, complete, and submit. Instructions, cues, and requirements must be clearly identified to users. It must be simple to recover from errors.
In this session, you will learn how to find accessibility errors in forms by using our high-level checklist.
Our goal is to help build your knowledge around the WCAG success criteria related to forms. We will cover many topics, including:
• Using labels and groups to identity elements
• Exposing the required and invalid attributes
• Having clear errors and instructions
• Robust, accessible names for controls
