In this session, Liz Whitaker and Rachel Buchanan go beyond the basics and demonstrate the power of JAWS screen reader with JAWS 2023 and Microsoft Teams. We’ll provide an overview of the Teams interface and talk about navigation improvements in JAWS 2023. Thousands of people use Microsoft Teams every day for work. This demonstration will show how the functionality of JAWS combines with the powerful features of Teams. From collaboration on files to chatting and calendar management, Teams and JAWS can work together with users for enormous productivity. We’ll demonstrate how to utilize Microsoft Teams for collaboration and productivity as a screen reader user, as well as how you can support your team members who may be using assistive tech.
