Rapid Prototyping with Accessibility in Mind
- Date & Time
- Tuesday, March 14, 2023 - 10:20 AM PST
- Location
- Grand GH
- Description
-
User testing with Accessibility in mind is always an afterthought. For a user who relies on assistive technologies to experience a digital product for the first time, accessibility needs to be fully implemented. Feedback from this group of users is often received through a customer support channel or after a formal legal complaint.
This session aims to showcase a content-first approach to building accessible prototyping that can be evaluated by assistive technology users early in the design process.
This session will go into detail on how testing for accessibility during the conceptualization stage provides a better experience for all users while educating UX professionals about web accessibility guidelines.
