- Description
-
When we think of accessibility, we often think of accessibility standards and compliance. But what’s more important is how different users can use your product or service and if they find delight in using your product. That’s a wide spectrum of user needs and assistive technologies!
In this session, using examples of past experiments, we’ll go through how to co-create with the disabled community, identify user needs and recruit users in a sustainable way. We’ll learn how to research digital experiences in smart devices (beyond websites) and when to work with different assistive technology users. Lastly, we’ll identify the different points within product development when user testing can be valuable and how to approach it.
