Artist Claiming Responsibility for Hollywood Sign 'Hollyweed' Stunt turns Himself In

In an interview two days later with the online magazine Vice, Fernandez - - who goes by the moniker Jesus Hands" -- said the effort was inspired by a similar 1976 alteration of the sign carried out by Cal State Northridge art student Danny Finegood, who changed the sign to "Hollyweed" as part of a school art project in response to a recent relaxation of marijuana laws. Received her Bachelor of Music degree from San Diego State University and her Masters of Music degree from California State University Northridge. Ruth’s songs have won many prestigious competitions including the New York Pro/Am Songwriting Festival, The Music City Music Festival, The John Lennon Songwriting Competition, The Shalshelet Music Festival, The Global Music Awards, and The Akademia Music Awards, to name a few. Ms. Weber is the director of the award-winning San Diego Jewish Men’s Choir, and is on the music faculty of Palomar and Miramar Community Colleges in San Diego, CA. -- PR Buzz
