Most CSUN students won’t be on campus during a primarily virtual fall semester, but their professors are working hard to bring engaging experiences to them. To help ensure the health and safety of the small number of students in classes who will conduct activities on CSUN’s campus — and the small percentage of employees who work on-site — the university has instituted a system of safety protocols and cleaning procedures that help minimize the risks.

CSUN Alum Could Be America’s First ‘Second Gentleman’

Douglas Emhoff ’87, a partner in global law firm DLA Piper, is the newest potential “Second Gentleman” of the United States. He’s married to U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, who is running for vice president alongside Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Emhoff and Harris are longtime philanthropic supporters of CSUN.
