CSUN Launches 10-Point Campus Action Plan to Improve Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and the recent shooting of Jacob Blake at the hands of police, CSUN President Dianne F. Harrison announced the launch of a Campus Action Plan for Improving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Black Students, Faculty and Staff. The plan aims to create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for all, setting the stage to help the university recruit and retain a diverse student body and workforce, and help individuals in these groups succeed.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Money Magazine Ranks CSUN Among Top ‘Transformative Colleges’

CSUN ranks No. 6 among the “most transformative colleges” in the nation, according to Money Magazine — meaning that students who attend CSUN exceed expectations based on their academic and economic backgrounds. CSUN also ranks No. 29 in Money Magazine’s list of the best public colleges in America, for its overall value.

Flu Shots Recommended for All CSUN Students and Employees This Fall

University leaders strongly recommend that students, faculty and staff get flu shots this year — especially individuals coming to CSUN’s campus. The guidance comes from the California Department of Public Health, which has stressed the importance of flu shots this year to reduce demands on health care facilities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
