CSUN Faculty Help Track COVID-19 Neighborhood By Neighborhood

Hoping to get a better grasp on how COVID-19 impacts people at the local level, CSUN geography professor Steven Graves and his colleagues have created interactive maps that track the virus’s progress county by county on the national level. A second map, created by Danielle Bram with CSUN’s Center for Geospatial Science and Technology, tracks the virus neighborhood by neighborhood in Los Angeles County.

During this global crisis, many parents must keep their kids engaged academically while trying to do their own work from a makeshift home office. Wendy Murawski, executive director and Eisner Endowed Chair of CSUN’s Center for Teaching and Learning, offered strategies to keep the stress level down and help parents keep their children on track.
