All Graduates to be Honored in Virtual Ceremonies for CSUN Classes of 2019-20, 2020-21

Virtual commencement events honoring the CSUN Classes of 2019-20 and 2020-21 will include a main, all-university ceremony to recognize distinguished graduates and confer all degrees, as well as individual college ceremonies that will recognize every participating graduate.

In a virtual discussion, renowned philosopher and author Cornel West discussed how the fatigue of dealing with hate can be helped by focusing on one’s own individual greatness, as well as the works of the great Black musicians, writers and intellectuals that can provide a balm for low spirits and help frame the way Black individuals see themselves.
