CSUN Football Great Rises Through NFL Coaching Ranks

Marcus Brady ’06 (Finance), the record-setting and last starting quarterback of the CSUN football program, was recently promoted by the Indianapolis Colts, becoming one of just four Black offensive coordinators in the National Football League out of its 32 teams.

CSUN Pioneer Ratcliffe Was One of Nation’s First Black Engineering Deans

Alfonso F. “Rick” Ratcliffe served as dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science for more than a decade in the 1980s and early ’90s. As one of the first Black deans of a non-HBCU engineering school in the nation, he was considered a role model for many young scholars aspiring to a career in engineering.
