Students in the French Studies Program who are currently enrolled in one or more French classes at CSUN may be eligible for the following scholarships:

Ralph Baccash Memorial Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of the family, friends, colleagues and students of Professor Ralph Baccash, a memorial fund has been established in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at California State University, Northridge. The interest from this fund will be used annually to provide one or more scholarships for deserving French minors, French majors, and Majors in Languages and Cultures with a concentration in French. This scholarship requires students to continue their study of French the following semester.

H. Dennis and Anne Beaver Foundation

This scholarship provides funds to study abroad in France over the summer months. In order to be considered for the Study in France scholarship, you must submit a completed application, an essay entitled, “How do I see French as important in my life?” in English and in French, along with a cover letter, copies of your passport and driver’s license, as well as a detailed bio of yourself.
