Graduate Certificate in Business Administration

The GCBA program is designed for professionals without undergraduate degrees in business who are seeking to advance their careers, or to strengthen their foundation in business administration. A practical tool-kit for immediate, sustained success on the job or in business, it also serves as excellent preparation for an MBA program.

The one-year, six-course program features

  • Work-friendly scheduling: classes meet one evening per week and every other Saturday morning
  • A community of peers: classes are taught in the cohort format. This not only ensures on-time completion and maximizes interaction with faculty; it also encourages the development of valuable relationships with classmates who share similar career goals and paths
  • Exceptional Support Services: the complete and on-going support of a designated program manager for all students, from application to graduation, frees them to focus on their studies and careers.

The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), providing students the opportunity to pursue the next level of education, if desired. For those students who seek to earn the MBA at CSUN, the GMAT requirement is waived if a "B" or better is earned in each course.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration program is currently on hiatus as we adapt the program to various business needs, we hope to bring it back in 2025.
