Play Groups for Children (ages 1-5 years)

Communicating with a deaf or hard-of-hearing child in a language that they can easily understand and use is essential for helping them reach their cognitive potential.

Our Play Groups are designed to provide fun and natural opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing children to communicate easily with one another. They are also designed to provide families with opportunities to SEE the power of natural, spontaneous visual language between adults and children.

The goal of the class is to help families understand the importance of accessible language and easy communication with their child, providing the building blocks for greater cognitive and academic growth.

WHEN: Play Group meets one Saturday morning per month
