Peace Over Violence Presents…
“In Touch With Kids”What: Peace Over Violence’s “In Touch With Kids” parenting classes are taught in Sign Language by a deaf instructor and aimed to empower deaf mothers to become the best parent they can be for their kid(s).
When: March 2nd to June 22nd (Every Monday)

Why: Peace Over Violence’s “In Touch With Kids” educational program will empower you, the parent, to create an atmosphere in your home that encourages honest communication, open discussion, and ensures non-violent resolution of all issues. The curriculum includes varieties of topics and also address intimate partner abuse and how children are affected when they witness violence in the home. Every week, we will address a specific parenting issue through discussion, role-playing, activities and handouts. Each member of the group is required to actively participate in all aspects of the program in order to get completion of parenting class certification.
