ECON 160. PRINCIPLES of MICROECONOMICS (3 units) - Fall 2020
Prerequisite: Qualifying scores on ELM and EPT, or exemption, or satisfactory completion of appropriate developmental courses.
Course Description: This course in Microeconomics provides a common sense approach to economics, covering basic economic laws and how they apply to our world and everyday life. The course is designed to give students a basic grounding in the terminology, basic concepts, and issues of contemporary economic theory, with an emphasis on microeconomics.
ECON 160 - Principles of Microeconomics
Time: This is a Fully Online class (FOI) in which all class sessions and exams are presented in an online environment. FOI courses have no on campus meetings. Online meetings may be a mix of scheduled and/or intermittent meeting times, and anytime access. This class has 7 scheduled dates that will require students and instructor to be online at the same time: 8/26/20, 9/16/20, 9/23/20, 10/21/20, 10/28/20, 12/02/20 from 12:00-1:45pm and 12/09/20 from 12:45-2:45pm (all Wednesdays). I will provide further information on class structure.
