SOM 306: Operations Management - Spring 2021 (3 units)
Prerequisite: SOM 120 or equivalent course. Recommended Corequisite or Preparatory: BUS 302/L.
Course Description: Exploration and application of quantitative techniques, systems analysis and operations analysis of business functions, with an emphasis on the optimization of process and operational efficiencies. A variety of management science methodologies will be applied to theoretical and real-world situations.
SOM 306 - Operations Management
Time: This is a Fully Online class (FOI) in which all class sessions and exams are presented in an online environment. FOI courses have no on campus meetings. Online meetings may be a mix of scheduled and/or intermittent meeting times, and anytime access. This course meets every Tuesday from 11:00-12:15 PM (Ticket #14022). Thursday from 9:30-10:45 AM (Ticket #14006). The rest of the class time to be arranged by instructor but will not require set meeting times. Instructor will provide further information on class structure.
Office Hours: Online via Zoom after the weekly Tuesday/Thursday sessions or by appointment.
