Biography

Jaycynda Trifone-Woodruff earned her B.A. in Sociology from CSUN in 2008 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2012, with a concentration in Criminal Justice.  She clerked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office during law school.  After being sworn in, she moved on to prosecute cases as an attorney with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office.

Profeesor Trifone-Woodruff teaches several of the CJS classes. For the fall 2023 term, Professor Trifone-Woodruff is teaching CJS 102 Intro to CJS (section 03, ticket 13222), CJS 270 Critical Justice Systems (section 04, ticket 13362), CJS 340 Ethics in CJS (section 05, ticket 13115), CJS 432 Alcohol, Drugs, and Crime (section 01, ticket 13033), CJS 452CY Cybercrime (section 01, ticket 13144).

Areas of Interest: Cybercrimes, Criminal Law, Sex Crimes and Human Trafficking.
