YOU MUST COMPLETE BOTH THE CAL STATE APPLY APPLICATION AND THE NURSING SUPPLEMENTAL APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
Cal State Apply University application deadline: January 31, 2024
*Note: When filing the Cal State Apply application select Fall 2024:
- In the Extended Profile you will select that you are transferring from a community college or four year university and will have 60+ units. This will allow you to select the "Nursing" option to complete your application.
- Details on filling out this application can be found on the Nursing Supplemental Application information page.
CSUN Nursing Department RN to BSN Supplemental Application deadline: January 31, 2024
**Note: Please have all identification and prerequisite course information available when completing the application, you will be asked for specific information and the application will time out if you leave the website and try to return.
The Department anticipates notifying applicants about their status around March 2024.
Note regarding RN-to-BSN Applicants:
The Department of Nursing will start reviewing applications sometime in February. Applicants will be notified through email regarding application status (i.e. application confirmation receipt, missing application materials, etc.) Please keep in mind that admission to the University does not guarantee admission to the Nursing Program.
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A-BSN)
Please do NOT complete a Cal State Apply application for the Accelerated BSN program. The Accelerated BSN application is on the Tseng College website.
