Krasilovsky's book, Great Adaptations, examines the technical methods of adapting novels, plays, life stories, comics, and video games from one medium to another, focusing on the screenplay. Her novel entitled Sex and the Cyborg Goddess tackles the issues of sexual assault and harassment in college and in the film industry. She's a professor in the Department of Cinema and Television Arts at California State University, Northridge, where she teaches film production, screenwriting, and media theory and criticism.
