UC Irvine lost Athletic Director Michael Izzi to CSUN in July and hasn’t hired a new one. Paula Smith is the well-respected interim. But everyone at UCI must know that Turner himself will be recruited, especially if the Anteaters are still playing basketball next Saturday or Sunday.
