The Elixir of Love also marks the first production for new Music Director Mercedes Juan Musotto. Ms. Muscotto comes to LA from Argentina and completed her Masters degree at CSUN. Center Stage Opera has made a commitment to expanding opportunities to women and minorities and Ms. Muscotto's new position reflects this commitment. Center Stage Opera is also reaching out to the Hispanic community, through publicity and press releases in Spanish, and will be projecting above the stage both Spanish and English translations of the Italian libretto at each performance.
