CSUN journalism student Jennifer Luxton recently won two national design awards in the Associated Collegiate Press' 2013 competition for work she created for the Daily Sundial. She took first place for a special section cover of the Green Issue, below, and fifth place for an illustration about driving frustrations on the 405 freeway, below. Luxton, a junior, was competing against top journalism students throughout the nation. The ACP competition is regarded as one of the most prestigious in college media. Luxton has held a variety of positions at the Sundial, including visual editor and page designer.
