The seventh annual Banned Books Readout is taking place Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Oviatt Library’s Ferman Presentation Room.
"Comedy and Censorship – Why do we Fear the Funny?" is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. Pizza will be served at the readout, a collaboration between the Journalism Department and the Oviatt Library. Read more
First-time freshman and transfer students recently gathered in a third-floor Manzanita Hall lecture room to meet their professors, hear from current majors and tour student-run media. They also had time to ask questions and to get acquainted with leaders of the Journalism Department's five professionally-affiliated clubs. Read more
CSUN’s Journalism Department will host its pre-semester welcome event, Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Manzanita Hall 361. The goal is to smooth the transition for incoming freshmen and transfer students, said Linda Bowen, department chair. Read more
