Our center has developed eleven new recipes for you to try out! The recipes are inspired from the items that CSUN Food Pantry provides to CSUN students. Preparing your own meals can save you a lot of money and it’s a good habit eating balanced meals. The purpose of our Pantry Delights recipe series is to show how to prepare a variety of hearty meals using canned goods and fresh fruits and vegetables. The key to a balanced meal is having protein, grains, and fruits and vegetables. You have the option to choose your favorite ingredients and swap out or add an ingredient to cater to your liking. In addition, our culinary interns, Shira Katz and Beatriz Vidaurre, will provide cooking techniques and tips as they show you how to prepare these meals. Our pantry delights film series is coming out this summer and will be posted in our YouTube channel and Nutrition Experts Website!
