This virtual workshop/presentation will address indigenous people's participation in community healing and the actions taken to protect Earth from the abuses of modern development.

The workshop includes the understanding of the processes of sharing the knowledge of curative properties of plants and the most useful plants and herbs for the communities in Patzicia, Chimaltenango, Guatemala.  Also, the presentation will address current issues on approaches to comprehend the impact of new developmental ideas that emerged from indigenous worldviews, present-day ecological conditions in the Sensunapán river in Nahuizalco, El Salvador, and the role of the state.
