Well-Being with the Dean: Jocceline Hernandez, RD, MS, FCS Alum, Lactation Educator, Northeast Valley Healthcare Corporation

September 29, 2021

What does well-being mean to you?  In September 2021, Dean Farrell J. Webb talked with Jocceline Hernandez, RD, MS, about well-being and how her work ensures a better quality of life for communities. Jocceline is a Lactation Educator for Northeast Valley Healthcare Corporation, and a Nutrition Consultant for the LA County Department of Public Health, focusing on Internal Child and Adolescent Health.

In this conversation, she and Dean Webb talk about the value of good nutrition for well-being throughout life, starting with healthy mothers passing good nutrition on to their babies.

Jocceline graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science from Family and Consumer Sciences in 2011, and came back to the department to earn her Master of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science in 2014.

This session took place on September 29, 2021.
