The sporting goods manufacturing company Jas. D. Easton, Inc., has had a decades-long relationship with CSUN. The Easton family, through the Easton Foundations, has given CSUN $1.5 million for the creation of a fellowship for Engineering faculty and to bolster resources for an archery range to develop the Olympic-style sport of archery on campus and an archery class in the Department of Kinesiology.
