KIN Graduation Ceremony
The 3 WINS Fitness free exercise program was awarded a 1-year grant of $80,000 by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) that will support the expansion of the program into 10 additional parks. The grant will fund the hiring of a supervising exercise physiologist to establish and evaluate the model of Public Health, Parks, and 3 WINS Fitness with research conducted in collaboration with LA County Department of Public Health, CSUN Public Health faculty and Providence Health Systems, and ACE. The magnitude of this outreach will be of significant value for our San Fernando Valley communities and Kinesiology students. Our very own students will be leading the way for a healthier Los Angeles!
